An interview with Jeremy

I recorded this interview a few months before Christmas and for some reason, the gremlins got in and it didn’t work properly. I have spent months – when I had the time – trying to get some help to fix it so that it could be uploaded.

Over the last two days, I have finally been able to get the recording together. It has been an incredible honour to interview those I have interviewed so far and I would love to interview some more. If you or anyone you know with Parkinson’s or supporting someone with Parkinson’s, I would love to do some more interviews. They are a mixture of my story and theirs and is a relaxed chat between friends.

I started first this blog and then my podcast to give me an outlet for my thoughts and feelings and in the hope that I can reach others who have to deal with this hitchhiking ratbag of a condition called Parkinson’s. We did not invite them along for the ride, but we are stuck with them!

I hope you will take the time to listen to the podcast and others I have on Spotify, Youtube, Apple podcasts and others called “My journey with Parkinson’s”. There is some great stuff on there. The section with the interviews is called “Parkies Patter – a chat about all things Parkinson’s” and I love listening to the stories of the participants and I think you will too!

This one is so good, I know now why I was so determined to get this done and be able to share it.

I feel privileged that other people with Parkinson’s have allowed me into their lives, as I have welcomed others into mine through my Blog and Podcasts.

I hope you enjoy this.

Thank you Jeremy for your patience and sharing your experience with us all.

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.
