This might help you – I know it helped me!

I have done a couple of new podcasts over the last day or two and I always encourage new followers to go back to the beginning of my blog, especially if they are newly diagnosed. I know that I often go back and re-read some of my blog posts and I can definitely see a change in how they are written and how I am coping with things.

I often say that this blog saved my life. I have always been a very emotional person and always need an outlet for my thoughts and feelings when things are stressful or emotional. Perhaps you are a follower of some years that is still following me – and if you are I am very happy to have you along for the ride – maybe look back at some of the earlier posts you read and see if you think you have changed your perspective in any way from when you first became one of my followers.

I think it is always good to check in with ourselves from time to time and just see how we are coping and see if there are any unmet needs and if so, how to attend to them.

Here’s how to access the podcast.

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.
