Linda – MS & Parkinson’s… An interview

Today I interviewed Linda from MS & Parkinson’s Canterbury, New Zealand. She outlined her role within the service and also spoke about the many ways the organisation can support people in the community with MS and Parkinson’s.

The link below will take you to the interview and I hope that you enjoy it.

If you are new to my podcasts, I highly recommend also listening to the interview with my husband who gives a very good insight into the life of someone closely supporting a person with PD.

Also, Louise Taylor a lawyer friend of mine also agreed to a couple of interviews about Wills and Enduring Power of Attorney. She provides a wealth of information on the two topics and even myself – as a Social Worker for some 20 years – learned a few new things. She is a very engaging speaker and as well as excellent information she has humour and is great to listen to.

I hope you enjoy some of the interviews coming up, as much as I enjoy making them.

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.
