Thank you dear husband

For arranging this wonderful holiday… I Thank you

For your patience when I ask for what may seem like the 100th time ‘what’s next?’.… Thank you.

For reminding me to take my pills when I am busy and might forget… Thank you.

For making sure I have my walking stick with me…. Thank you

For checking in with me and making sure I’m ok and not too sore to walk… Thank you.

For coming with me when I want to shop – even though it’s probably the last thing you want to do – a thousand Thank you’s.

For letting me try to do things – even though they may cause me pain – I thank you.

For trusting me to tell you when I need to rest – Thank you.

For caring, but not fussing and for quietly helping when I need it… Thank you.

Every day, in every way for making this a holiday to remember full of moments to treasure… I thank you.

For all that you are and all that you do, with patience, kindness and love… I can never thank you enough.

I work in health and have been with the same supportive team for over 7 years. They are all aware of my diagnosis and this helps tremendously especially while I get used to the idea of my diagnosis. My parents both had Parkinsons, so I guess my odds were higher than most.
