Shop to shop hopping

We love to shop,my cousin and I
Like to get bargains, don't like the price high

I will buy retail, though only on sale
She loves perusing an Op shopping rail

Op shopping's great if the company is good
Cousin and I in our neighbourhood

Cousin will chide me for buying retail
Oh, it's a bargain I plaintively wail

When we're together, I love Op shopping too
It's time with my cousin Op shopping us two

We have lots of fun and have lots of laughter
I don't really mind if I've no bargains after

Op shopping is grand if you get a good deal
You might bag flash labels and at a steal

My cousin she is much more like a sis
To spend time together I don't like to miss

Our blokes don't like shopping or see it as fun
If mine needs some clothing it's in out and done

But we will spend hours shop to shop hopping 
A fun time and laughter we have when we're shopping

Just read this into a podcast, with a few minor adjustments. Bear with me as I return to a new kind of normal as I work my way back to health and less pain.

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.
