Pods and Blogs and Odds and Sods – The Podcast

Further to my rather long Blog post about the above title, I wanted to also give voice to the topic on my podcast. I hope it gives a bit of an insight into who I am, how I function and why I choose to do things the way that I do. Not for me the rigid, overly organised way of interacting with followers in either my blog or my podcast (or pod for short).

If you can cope with the unexpected and unscripted then this might just be the place for you. If you need ridigity and scriptedness then this may not work so well. That is fine either way, but I know what works for me and that is to work to my strengths which are to give voice to whatever is topmost in my life and in my thoughts at the time I sit down to either blog or pod.

I hope you will join me as I meander through my life and share my thoughts and experiences along the way.

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.

    2. I checked with my husband and you don’t have to have a Spotify account. There will be a link in the email you get when the podcast is ready. Just click in the link and it will take you straight there.

      2. Thank you. I would love it if you can get my podcasts somehow. Do you get your emails on your phone? My husband does. I think someone showed him how to get emails on his of phone. Probably a child!?? I do appreciate so much they you have been following for so long. I think of people like you – loyal followers – and imagine I can talking to you. Hope you can sort it. Do you have Smart phones,?
