As I have said before, I am on a collection of medications the like of which I have never been on before. Most of them are designed either to ease my pain or to counteract the side effects of those pain killers. Some of them can really block you up, so it is important to keep an eye on things as that can also be dangerous.
There are tablets to take and natural things like kiwi crush to offset any ‘blockages’ there might be. On Friday we go to my GP for what has turned into our weekly review of meds etc. One thing about working in a hospital for 11 years, you do get used to hearing about people’s wees and poos quite a lot. They even describe them as maybe being like porridge or sausages or they may use a thing called ‘The Bristol Stool Chart’. This chart is useful in that there is less need to go into detail of your particular situation, which let’s face it can be a bit embarrassing.
So, the Bristol Stool Chart below gives a really good idea of what your particular unwanted products look like with less embarrassment. You simply refer to it being a No.1 or No.2 or whatever is appropriate to your waste product. Here is the Bristol Stool Chart, it may be handy in case sometime in the future you have to answer the question of what it looks like. Plus, the medical people asking the question are bound to be impressed if you know what a No.7 looks like!

Hope you’re not eating your dinner when you open this!
It may be a bit gross, but also may be useful in the future.
