There were some technical difficulties with the recording and my voice is not as clear as it should be, but the important thing is that Greta comes across loud and clear.

Below is a wee quote I loved from the interview and I love the sentiment behind it and it is just beyond awesome.

“ Older people have all these fascinating stories and a lot of times ageism is based on the misunderstanding that people are only what you see before you. And if you ask even the most banal or like little question about people’s lives. Suddenly these huge rainbow panoramas of awesomeness could arrive….”

I am a retired Social Worker having retired in May 2024. I had been a Social Worker for over 20 years and for the sake of my health and wellbeing I chose to retire early. I have some literary projects underway and am enjoying the freedom of no longer working. Working on my projects at my own pace and enjoying my new hobby of lawn bowls is a wonderful thing. No regrets and a new kind of busy in retirement is wonderful.
